About this deal

The Big Issue Confined in a small space for months on end, subject to ship's discipline and living on limited food supplies, many sailors of old lost their minds - and no wonder. It is accepted by you that Daunt Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Jules went from a seemingly completely normal woman to full on fruit loops and it made no sense whatsoever. A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce.

I think I have read just about all of Lucinda Berry's books and she can really come up with a wild story to tell. Every chapter she's screaming at everyone to investigate Jules even though Jules is locked up in a psychiatric ward. Eh, it’s not keeping my attention, I had higher hopes going in to this because of the narrators, but it was kinda bland.

Two families who must deal with the onset of horror, loss, and psychological damage in the embers of this unspeakable incident. Our current partner charities in the UK are READ International, the National Literacy Trust, Room to Read. I quite enjoyed the Jules character (even though she’s mentally unwell) but Amber was just annoying.

Events seemed to be ripped from psychological case studies and inserted here and there for their shock value. Das Thema an sich finde ich mega spannend aber anders geschrieben oder mit mehreren Sichtweisen oder einfach nur die stinknormale Erzählweise. The past and present collide with explosive consequences in this addictive, twisty thriller from an author at the top of her game. I didn't know that going in, but I've read a couple of Pagan's other books and had to read this one too.He is *very* much suspected of being a fellow Autistic, and because of his brilliance I was able to follow in his footsteps to rise myself out of being a trailer p. Told from the point of view of both mothers in alternating chapters, we discover very different versions of a similar story and many times I wanted to tell both of them to get a grip and start behaving like adults.

The only misstep for me was that the actual conclusion almost came out of left field - we don’t really start understanding until the final 20% of the book and then something happens suddenly to culminate the story, and i feel like it would’ve benefited from a bit more exploration, and maybe even getting an additional narrator in Isaac. Overall though, this *is* a five star review, so I’m going to recommend you read this book – if for no other reason than maybe I’m wrong and there was genuinely a great tale in here that I just didn’t pick up on? I liked it and the writing kept me interested, I would love a bit more character depth and time with the characters. But, when I read on, I suddenly understood her strange behavior towards her psychiatrist and was gobsmacked by how brilliant the author was in first making me think a certain way about her, and then changing my perception of her.Wracked with self loathing and guilt Jules indeed goes Off the Deep End and her mental state deteriorates into a violent and unstable mess. When young reporter, Finn, is assigned to cover the comeback of Olympic-hopeful, Wes, he’s less than thrilled.

This is a story of how two men can help each other through their highs and lows, whilst also not being able to keep their hands off each other! Read more about the condition Very Good: A book that has been read and does not look new, but is in excellent condition. He really helped Wes learn to not take things too seriously and to opening himself up to new opportunities—like love. There *is* a massive twist at the end of the book, but it comes completely out of left field with absolutely zero foreshadowing *at all*.
